Okay, I know $74.95 for a lunch box seems a little crazy, but we are taking the plunge (there are less expensive options on the site as well). How many of you have been through lunch box after lunch box trying to find the best one? I know we have. Using containers, losing lids or bottoms (how does that happen). I swear Tupperware lids are like socks. We frequent Paleo sites for recipes and Dr. Beth came across the PlanetBox and after some research we are getting the "Rover" for our 14 year old daughter. I will check back in with our experience!

Sooooo......We have had the lunch box for a few months now, and it has been used once. I had to call the company as the latch was not very secure at first. My feeling is that the compartments are small and there is not enough separation between them. Meaning if you had some foods that were say, juicy, they me leak into other areas. Personally not a big fan!

I own three planet boxes, two rovers and the adult version called the Launch and I think they are awesome. I have never had problems with the food leaking into other compartments, if you have juicy foods there is a container with a seal you could put them in that comes with the kit. I would give it another try. I like not having my foods in plastic. Also the metal keeps the lunch nice and cold. I am an adult and I thought the rover had plenty of space for food and I was never hungry after eating my lunch. I also thought it was great because you cannot over pack your lunch and end up with too much food. It's easy to watch the portion sizes.
